Case Study: Enhancing Student Engagement with Student Dashboard

Background: As a Product Manager at BrightChamps, I led the development of the Education10x student dashboard—a web-based Learning Management System focused on financial literacy for K-12 students. Education10x, a BrightChamps subsidiary, provides an engaging curriculum developed by alumni from institutions like IIM Calcutta, Harvard, and NYU Stern.

Product Overview: The student dashboard allows paid users to attend live classes, access study materials, and engage with educational resources. Designed as a user-friendly platform, it includes features for scheduling classes, tracking attendance, and gamifying the learning experience to boost engagement and learning outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities: I managed the end-to-end development of the dashboard, collaborating with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and marketers. My key responsibilities included:

  • Conducting user interviews to identify usability and engagement challenges.
  • Leading the rollout of key features, such as simplified authentication and gamified learning.
  • Creating product roadmaps, wireframes, and incorporating feedback from both students and parents.

Challenges Identified: User research revealed several key challenges:
